DESCRIPTION:…with Sally Barker – “Sally\, Joni and Sandy” – the songs of Joni Mitchell and Sandy Denny. I’ve recently been working with Sally through IOTA and now we’re embarking on our own duo work which includes this project. \nIt’ll be really great playing my local city for a change! \nChampioned by Sir Tom Jones as he (sometimes tearfully) mentored her through to the final of The Voice 2014\, Sally has supported Sir Tom\, Bob Dylan and Robert Plant amongst others during 30+ years as a fiercely independent respected folk-blues singer/songwriter. \nFounding member of revered fem-folksters The Poozies and folk-rock’s reformed Fotheringay\, Sally takes time out from new indie-folk trio IOTA to perform classics by Joni Mitchell and Sandy Denny alongside her own songs.
