DESCRIPTION:THIS GIG WAS POSTPONED DUE TO COVID \nGreat! I’m really pleased to be back at Bromsgrove Folk Club!  A ‘new’ venue (well\, to me!) which I’ve already visited a couple of times to see friends playing.  I haven’t played this club in lots of years oh eversuch a long time ago. So I shall bring all my struments and I will play the trumpet and other stuff.  \nYou don’t have to get tickets in advance – you just turn up. \nBromsgrove Folk Club takes place in a ‘Working Men’s Club’. \nThis is what it says about itself:\n“It is held in a large comfortable room with a bar. And as for the music\, we pride ourselves on booking artists who ENTERTAIN (a dirty word in some clubs). \nIn addition to guest nights\, when we present the best on the current scene from this country and beyond\, occasionally\, during the year we have a “Showcase” where performers come along & show us what they can do. \nYou don’t have to be a member just come along\, bring a friend and enjoy! \nWe meet\, on the Second and Last Thursday of every month \nWe start at 8:00pm until 10:30 \nIn the meantime – this is what I look like now in case you don’t recognise me…  \n
