SUMMARY:NEW FOREST FOLK FESTIVAL: Sandy Denny Project
DESCRIPTION:It’s great to be playing this lovely festival again. One of my favourites. \nThis time I’m with The Sandy Denny Project who are my IOTA colleagues Sally Barker and Marion Fleetwood with Mat Davies\, Mark Stevens and PJ Wright. \nSally and PJ are 2 of the members of Reformed Fotheringay with orinial members Jerry Donahue\, Gerry Conway and Pat Donaldson.\nI was privileged to play in this line-up when we did the benefit concert for Jerry Donahue (obviously without Jerry). \nThis festival is in a lovely area at the edge of the New Forest – Plaitford near Romsey. \nPowells Farm\, Salisbury Road\,\nPlaitford\, Romsey\, Hants\, SO51 6EE \nThe camping is great and very organised.\nThe site is one stage at the bottom of a small slope providing naturally raked seating and surrounded with craft stalls and with the bar at the back. \nAdult 5 day ticket (Wed – Sun) £105\nIncludes Free Camping from Noon Wednesday to Noon Monday\nChildren 5 – 15 years of age are half price and under 5 free\nFree camping offer ends 31st December 2021 and then it will be £8 per pitch per night.\nPostcode for Main Gate Including ALL camping – Gate 1 SO51 6EF \nDay Tickets will be on sale closer to the festival.\nFor ticket enquiries\, email nick@newforestfolkfestival.co.uk \n
