2001 Regan-Ryder Gig 2001

In 2001 I was invited to play a gig with Julianne Regan (All About Eve) in the warm-up week to Fairport Convention’s Cropredy Festival. This followed the same kind of gig the previous year with Eddi Reader.

This was really enjoyable and interesting. We even wrote a song together for it.

We also spent a great day or two devising The Method Of Practice and then on August 8th on the day before the Cropredy Festival, we did the gig at Banbury Mill.

We had some wonderful people join us as you can see. Chris While and Julie Matthews doing vocals and percussion, Marty Willson-Piper (at the time all About Eve, now The Church) on electric guitar, Chris Knibbs on trombone and vocals, Kate Luxmoore on clarinet ,bass clarinet and vocals, Oonagh Ryder singing and Ric Sanders on fiddle…
