2003 Steve Tilston

During 2003 Steve invited me to record on his new record ‘Such & Such’ along with Maartin Allcock and Roy Dodds. I had met Roy the year before when he was drumming for Eddi Reader at Cropredy.

I recorded on several tracks of this album which was made in Bristol and it was fun to do.

We followed this up by doing a tour with a band consisting of Maartin Allcock on bass, Clive Bunker on drums and me on keyboard, French horn and accordion. This was even funner and I really enjoyed this time playing with Steve. I was very busy at the time and wasn’t doing a lot of diary entries on the website so I’ve written this one retrospectively.

I enjoyed playing with Clive so much I invited him along with double-bass player Martin Brunsden to come on tour in Germany the following year.

I managed to get time to do cartoon or two as usual…
